How can I cancel an application?

You may wish to cancel an application you previously started, because you want to change to a different vacancy, the vacancy has closed or you simply don’t want to continue with the application.

You can easily cancel an application by following these steps:

  1. In the main menu select Your Application(s).
  2. In the Your applications list, click the Continue your application link for the application you want to cancel.
  3. Within the Application summary box, click on the Cancel this application link.
  4. Click the Cancel this application button.
  5. Click Yes to confirm you want to proceed.

Note: When you cancel an application, most of your profile information (contact details, education etc.) is held in the system and will be automatically populated into the next application you start. However, application-specific answers (competency questions) will be lost and cannot be reinstated.
