How to enable Pop-ups

Parts of the system rely on pop-ups in order to launch related features and third party systems (such as online tests). 

 

Chrome:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. Click on the three vertical dots in the top right-hand side of the browser toolbar. 
  3. Click Settings.
  4. At the bottom, click Show advanced settings.
  5. Under Privacy, click Content settings.
  6. Under Pop-ups, select the option Allow all sites to show pop-ups.

 

Safari:

  1. From the Safari menu, choose Preferences.
  2. Click on the Security tab.
  3. Ensure that the Block pop-up windows option is NOT checked.

 

Internet Explorer:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Go to the web page that you want to allow pop-ups.
  3. From the Tools menu (the gear icon on the far right of the browser toolbar), select Internet options
  4. Click on the Privacy tab.
  5. Under Pop-up Blocker ensure that the Turn on Pop-up Blocker checkbox is NOT checked.
  6. Click Apply.

 

Edge:

  1. Click on the icon with three horizontal dots in the upper-right hand corner of the browser toolbar.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. In the Advanced settings section, click on View advanced settings.
  4. In the Block pop-ups section, click the switch to Off.

 

Firefox:

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
  2. Go to the web page that you want to allow pop-ups.
  3. Click on the icon with three horizontal dots in the upper-right hand corner of the browser toolbar.
  4. Select Options (Windows) or Preferences (OS X).
  5. In the left sidebar, click on the Content icon.
  6. In the Pop-ups section, ensure that the Block pop-up windows checkbox is NOT checked.
